    Unfortunately, visa on arrival is not applicable for Sri Lanka passport holder currently.

    All the information for obtaining a visa, please directly contact Vietnam Embassy/Consulate which is the most convenient.

    I am Srilankan and intends to visit Vietnam for a one week.I saw in a travel information web site that visitors should show money worth of
    us 7000/ upon arrival. Is it necessary as we have to pay the tour cost to the travel operating company prior to our visit. we can keep us 500/ for other expenses. please confirm.

      As a travel agency, we cannot provide enough information for your issue. Please kindly contact Vietnam Embassy in Sri Lanka for further details. But for your case, normally, you do not need to show money of 7000 upon arrival.

  Dear Officer,

  Im a sri lankan pp holder n i am working in Maldives… i need to travel to Vietnam for Business purpose with my Maldivian boss. we both applied online visa, but he is only granted..we have plan to go on 24th feb to 31st feb 2013.
  please could you let me know what are the relevant documents i have to produce for my visa.
  is there any appointed travel agents in sri lanka for handling the Vietnam visa?
  please let me know .

  i am a swish passport holder and i want to know whether a third party apply for the vietnam visa in srilanka with ALL MY DOKUMENTS? If i want to live in vietnam for the rest of my life, can i do it and how much does it cost? I have a pension in sweden.

    Please contact the Vietnam Embassy for more information because the processing time for Vietnam visa application and fee varies from embassy to embassy.
    And be kindly informed that once you apply for Vietnam visa at Vietnam embassy, you will get visa stamped on your passport, not visa approval letter.

    Dear Rohita,

    Since we do not know exactly what is your nationality, please check Vietnam visa requirement to know whether you are exempted for Vietnam visa or not, and whether your nationality is supported with Vietnam visa on arrival or not. If your are exempted for Vietnam visa, you are not required to apply.

    In case you are not exempted for visa to Vietnam but supported with Vietnam visa on arrival, you can apply for Vietnam visa online with us. In this case, no document is required, you only need to fill out the online Vietnam visa application form. After 1 or 2 working days, you will get your approval letter and then get visa stamped at the arrival airport. For more information about how Vietnam visa on arrival works, please see our Application Process.

    In case you are not supported with Vietnam visa on arrival, please contact the Vietnam Embassy for more information.
