  1. Rosario says:

Question: Do I still need to pay for any other fee, such as the visa fee itself, apart from your service cost USD25 if i choose to apply the visa on arrival on line?

  2. admin says:

    Answer to Rosario,

There are two kinds of fees: service fee and stamping fee.
    - Service fee: the fee is paid for us to proceed the visa for you.
    - Stamping fee: For getting your visa stamped at VIETNAM airport, pay directly at the Vietnam airports for the Immigration officers by cash (in USD) at immigration Desk if you apply for Visa on arrival. If you apply for visa code, this fee will be paid directly at the Vietnam Embassy and Consulate in the country you want to pick up!

  3. Stacy says:

If I am traveling to Vietnam on December 26, 2009, how early can I apply for a visa. Does the 1 month visa start from the date it is issued or from the first day of travel?

  4. admin says:

    To Stacy,

Please be kindly noted that the duration of a visa starts from the arrival date noted in the visa, not the first day of your travel.

For applying for a visa to Vietnam, you can apply at our website http://www.vietnam-visa.com for normal service (after 2 working days, your visa approval letter will be finished).

  5. Mafk says:

    Hi,

My wife and I are travelling to Vietnam from Cambodia by land, can we get our visa in Hong Kong before going to Cambodia? We have 4days in Hong Kong over new year.

    Many thanks

    Mark

  6. admin says:

    To Mafk,
You are traveling to Vietnam by land, so visa code picked up at Vietnam Embassy in oversea is the best option. You can go to Vietnam Embassy in Hong Kong or apply online to submit your visa before going to Cambodia.

  7. Mick says:

I am a Dutch citizen and will be travelling around SE Asia for a period of about three months. I would like to know if I can obtain a 3 month, multiple entry visa for Vietnam whilst being in Hong Kong. What would you advise me to do? Should I arrange this online and will I be able to use the so-called Visa Code? And how does this work? Will I get the code prior to travelling to HK and go to the Vietnamese embassy there? If so, will I then be able to pick up the visa on the spot there, or will there still be a processing time of several days? Also, what would be the price for a 3 months (a “Less than 6 months visa”, according to the Vietnamese embassy in the Netherlands) multiple entry visa or a single entry visa be?

    Thanks in advance, Mick

    To Mick
    1. In case you would like to travel by air

    -You apply online at http://www.vietnam-visa.com
-Settle the payment (service fee) as per instructions
    - Receive your visa approval letter after 1working day (urgent service), and 2 or 3 working days (normal service) via email
    - You print the letter out and bring it together with your photos + passport +some dollars pay the Vietnam Immigration Officer to get your visa stamped in arrival airport in Vietnam and pick up your visa there.
And now, you are ready to enter Vietnam!

There are two kinds of fees: service fee and stamping fee.
    - Service fee: the fee is paid ONLINE for us to process the visa for you.
    - Stamping fee: For getting your visa stamped at VIETNAM airport, pay directly at the Vietnam airports for the Immigration officers by cash (in USD) at immigration Desk.
Kinds of visa Service fee/pax (USD) Stamping fee/pax (USD)
    Visa on arrival-1 month single $21.25 $25
    Visa on arrival-1 month multiple $26.25 $50
    Visa on arrival-3 months single $35 $25
    Visa on arrival-3 months multiple $40 $50
-NORMAL PROCESSING service fee: GUARANTEED 2-3 working days
-URGENT PROCESSING service fee: 1 working day (plus 10 USD).
    - You can pay us via Credit card or Western Union.
    2. In case you travel by other ways (not travel by air):
You should apply for visa code (the visa to pick up at your nearest and most convenient Vietnam Embassy). There are two ways for you to get your visa code:
The first is you can apply at our site http://www.vietnam-visa.com, after one day (urgent service) and two to three working days for normal service; you receive the visa approval code by Vietnam Immigration Department. Then you print the code and bring it with you to Vietnam Embassy in the country you are living to stamp your visa quickly.
    - Stamping fee: For getting your visa stamped at VIETNAM Embassy/Consulate, you pay directly for the staff in-charge of the Embassy/Consulate (50 USD upwards)
The second way is that you yourself go to Vietnam Embassy to apply for visa. This way is more time consuming and complicated.

I need my visa by 5/23. I fly into Hanoi. Can you confirm the process? I pay via credit card $25 on this site, you send me an approval letter, and at the Hanoi airport I pay the $25 fee for the 1 month single entry visa? Thanks.

  12. admin says:

    Answer to Sarah:

    Thank you for contacting us!

We would like to inform that getting visa to Vietnam is quite simple and easy now. There are 2 options for getting Vietnam visa:

    1) If you travel by air to Vietnam, you are kindly advised to apply for a visa on arrival. This is a simpler and easier way than the other. For visa on arrival, you apply online at our website http://www.Vietnam-Visa.com, pay the service fee to get visa approval letter after 1 working day (urgent service) or 2-3 working days (normal service). With this visa approval letter, passport, 2 photos and stamping fee (25 USD for single entry visa, 50 USD for multiple entry visa), your visa will be stamped at Vietnam airport.

Moreover, please be kindly noted that there are two kinds of fees:

    - Service fee: the fee is paid ONLINE for us to process the visa approval letter for you.
    - Stamping fee: For getting your visa stamped at VIETNAM airport, pay directly at the Vietnam airports for the Immigration officers by cash (in USD) at immigration Desk.

Kinds of visa Service fee/pax (USD)
Visa on arrival-1 month single $21.25
Visa on arrival-1 month multiple $26.25
Visa on arrival-3 months single $35
Visa on arrival-3 months multiple $40

    2) In case you travel by road, you are suggested to come directly to Vietnamese Embassy/ Consulate where you are living or staying to obtain your Vietnam visa there.

You need to take your passport, a passport-sized photo, and cash in person to the Consulate, where you will be interviewed about the purpose of your visit. You must also pay the stamping fee and wait in a few days to get the visa. Please note that the application procedures and fees may vary among countries and embassies/consulates.

We do hope that this information is clear and helpful for you to decide to use what type of visa. We are willing and please to serve you at our best!

We are waiting for your replies!

    Kind regards,
    Anna Quach

  13. Etar says:

    Hi,

I am an American citizen in Hong Kong right now. I just wanted to confirm what I read above: I apply online for a “visa on entry” and pay the service fee of about 25 USD (is that different for if I do urgent service vs. normal service?) and then when I fly in, I bring all those documents and pay 25USD again, since I am coming for one entry of 5 days. Is that correct? So the total cost is about 50USD? For a one time entry for one month?

Also, I read about a visa exemption letter. What is that? Also, is the cost the same for travelers of any country? For example, I have friends who are traveling with me that are from Poland, Germany, Mexico, etc. Do we all pay the same price for the visa? Thank you so much for any help you can give us.

does the 1 month for the visa date start on the day i receive the visa from the embassy? or can it be made so that it starts on the day i arrive in vietnam?
for example, if i get my visa from HK embassy on March 15th 2011 but I don’t travel to Vietnam until April 22nd… would that be okay?

  19. Julia says:

Please inform that your visa will take effect on visa on arrival which you note in your visa application form not the date you enter Vietnam. You can enter Vietnam within your registered arrival date and your due date.

We booked a trip to Vietnam for 10 days (Hong Kong – Vietnam – Hong Kong), this I booked with my Dutch passport.
My mother will join the Vietnam trip as well. She’s HK citizen (lives in HK) but has a Dutch passport as well. She will travel with her HK citizen card, so she needs to apply the visum at your office, is this correct?
Is it also possible that the four of us (holding Dutch passport) apply the Vietnam visum at your office as well?
