For those who reside or stay in Beijing (China) at the time of waiting for the visa to Vietnam, there are two ways to get Vietnam visa, through Vietnam Embassy in Beijing (China), or get Visa on Arrival via online service:
Get Vietnam Visa through Vietnam Embassy in Beijing (China)
- Issuing unit: Vietnamese Embassy in Beijing (China)
- Processing time: 3 to 5 working days
- Processing fee: 50 – 85 USD/person
- Additional fee: Postal cost
- With Passport requirement
- How to get it? You reach this Embassy in person and follow the required procedures.
Get Vietnam Visa on Arrival via visa service:
- Issuing unit: Vietnam Immigration Department
- Processing time: 2 to 3 working days
- Processing fee: 21. 25 USD (1 month single), 26.25 USD (1 month multiple), 35 USD (3 month single)…more (stamping fee NOT included)
- Without Passport requirement
- How to get it? You go online at http://www.vietnam-visa.com, fill in the secure form, and just wait 2-3 days until you receive your Visa Approval Letter, and take this + your passport + 2 photos to Vietnam to get your visa at airport. This seems to be the cheapest and easiest way to get a visa to Vietnam from Beijing (China)

this is a wrong information. Visa at the embassy is only 350 rmb and takes 5 days, very easy. They are only advertising for there website bu if you go there directly it’s easy and not as expensive as they say, and safer than going there directly without visa.
If you apply to get the visa code, can you use this system to collect your visa from the embassy in beijing?

We are sorry to inform you that there is no way to get your Vietnam visa if you are not entering though airport nor obtaining your visa at a Vietnam Embassy as if you enter Vietnam by air, you can apply for visa on arrival online without coming in person to Vietnam Embassies/consulates other while you need to apply directly there.
